Mutual respect is a strong part of Dawley Brook Primary School's ethos and permeates throughout our core aims and objectives. Pupils are supported in learning that their behaviour has an effect on their own rights and those of others.
There is an expectation that all members of the school community treat each other with respect. This is reiterated through our teaching and learning environment with positive relationships being actively modelled and encouraged throughout the school.
Mutual respect is embraced throughout the curriculum by providing the opportunity for pupils to express their views in a safe environment.
The teaching of Religious Education (RE) throughout the school, enables the children to develop a knowledge and understanding of the world of religion and how beliefs impact on the daily lives of children and adults in our locality and in a wider global context. This helps develop tolerance and mutual respect for religious viewpoints.
Within our Physical Education (PE) and Sports programmes, the importance of team work and fair play are promoted.
