We are celebrating World Book Day a little differently this year. Whilst we cannot be together it is great to be able to share things that you have done at home to celebrate books!

We have also put together some special films made by our staff to share some of their favourite stories with you and aim to do our bit to 'share a million stories'!

You can download your own mouse friend to make at home by clicking the blue button here.

Dudley Libraries are pleased to present ”Witch hunting for beginners” a free film for World Book Day.

The film is narrated by storyteller, John Kirk and is based on the story of Roald Dahl’s “The Witches”. It has been funded by Arts Council England as part of the “Novels that shaped our world project”.

At its heart the project aims to inspire a love of reading and encourage children to visit their local library.

Why don't you explore our staff storytelling films here?
