Reception parents have had their first glimpse of the fantastic new covered structure in Reception Outdoor Area.
The old structure had been in place for many years and had finally become unusable. The replacement canopy should last for many years! Not only will it shelter outdoor play from rain but also from the hottest of the sun's rays. There is plenty of room underneath for activities and even for the whole class to sit around the built-in benches.
We will be asking for donations of some useful items like old pots and pans for the mud kitchens and so on. Mrs Woodall will send out messages to ask. In the meantime, we would ask that if you are waiting for school to open that children don't climb on the structure or use the equipment set out for lessons.
